Breakneck Ridge (NY) A nice hiking area north and east of Harriman Park, NY (south of Beacon on the East Side of the Hudson).  A spectacular rocky climb up from the Hudson River and then a walk along the ridge.

---Sunday, October 26, 2008 ... pictures...Starting from the Southern end, on bikes then hiking over Bonticou Crag.  Back on the bikes to Mohonk House, then hike through the crevice, to sky top.  Finally back on the bikes to get to the van just at dark.
--October 11, 2009 ... pictures .. Got one of the last parking spaces at the Visitor Center.  Bicycle from the Trapps; then walked to Sky Top, the Labyrinth, through Crevice, Mohonk Lake, Eagle Cliff.  Bicycle back to the Traps and took an extra trip to Awosting Falls before going back to the parking lot.
